Social media is a rapidly growing industry. New platforms are introduced to the public on a consistent basis and are used as marketing tools for many businesses. Social media profiles can help a brand maintain its public image, adverse products, and services, and interact with customers. This is a full-time job! New features are continuously being introduced, and it is up to social media managers to stay ahead in the competition.

Social media managers must have great research skills, be able to adapt to changing features quickly, and have great media literacy abilities, too. This is a job that requires a wide skill set and a lot of dedication. Social media requires trial and error in order to figure out what works for your brand personally! However, this can also be a very fun job since it requires creativity, artistic abilities, and daring to be different.

Real Estate Agent

Real estate agents are responsible for building great relationships with their clients and finding them the perfect home. This will require a lot of organization, planning, research, and negotiation techniques. Not only that, but real estate agents must have great sales skills as this is a huge part of the job!

Each state has different licensing laws and regulations when it comes to being a real estate agent. Luckily, the steps are very systematic and do not require a lot of time to complete. Small Business Owner

If you’ve ever dreamed of being your own boss, a degree in Business is the perfect place to start learning the basics! Small business owners must be well-versed in a variety of different organizational functions. From finance to marketing, you’ve got to know it all! This is why dipping your toes in a variety of sectors of the Business world while completing your degree is crucial.

If you have an interest in creating a product or offering a service, why not give it a go! Bakeries, florists, boutiques, and restaurants are all examples of small business ideas you can explore. If you don’t want to open a storefront and enjoy the work-from-home lifestyle, you can sell your merchandise online, too! Sites such as Etsy are a great place to start and make your virtual storefront.

From guest lists to food, venue, transportation, and clothing, wedding planners are a must for anyone who desires a large-scale event to celebrate their marriage.

As a wedding planner, you’ll need to have great communication and negotiation skills. It will be your job to explore different venues, caterers, and more all while staying within your client’s budget. You will also need to be flexible and able to adapt to changing wants and needs of your client.
