Description
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to manage and oversee all aspects of our clients payroll processing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction payroll, including certified payroll reporting and compliance with industry-specific regulations.
Key Responsibilities
+ Process weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
+ Manage certified payroll reporting in accordance with Davis-Bacon and prevailing wage requirements.
+ Maintain and update employee payroll records, including timekeeping, deductions, and benefits.
+ Coordinate with project managers and HR to ensure accurate job costing and labor allocation.
+ Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports.
+ Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
+ Stay current with changes in labor laws and payroll regulations affecting the construction industry.
Requirements
+ Minimum of 3 years of payroll experience in the construction industry.
+ Proficiency in certified payroll processes and reporting.
+ Strong understanding of prevailing wage laws and union agreements.
+ Experience with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Sage, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
+ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
