**Job Title: Manufacturing Maintenance Technician** **Company: PDS Tech Commercial** **Pay Rate: $21.00** **Location: Hanover Park, IL** **Position Summary:** PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled and reliable **Manufacturing Maintenance Technician** to support maintenance operations at our client's manufacturing facility in Hanover Park, IL. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of all production machinery and systems to meet safety and productivity standards. **Key Responsibilities:** + Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems, electrical systems, production machinery, conveyors, and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment. + Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, including those involving PLCs. + Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues such as leaks, wear, or malfunctions. + Accurately document maintenance work, repairs, and inspections. + Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. + Work collaboratively with production teams to reduce downtime and improve overall equipment effectiveness. + Ensure compliance with internal safety protocols and OSHA standards. + Assist with the installation, modification, and upgrading of equipment. + Support root cause analysis and participate in continuous improvement projects. + Maintain inventory of maintenance tools and parts; report supply needs. **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or GED required; technical/trade certification preferred. + Minimum of 2 years' experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance. + Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical and electrical systems. + Familiarity with PLCs and control systems is a plus. + Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. + Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings. + Basic computer skills; CMMS experience preferred. + Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks. + Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment. **Work Environment:** + Manufacturing facility with exposure to machinery, noise, dust, and fluctuating temperatures. + Must be willing to work occasional overtime, weekends, or on-call shifts as required. **Additional Requirements:** + Must adhere to all safety guidelines and wear required PPE. + Commitment to cleanliness and organization in the work area. + Strong communication and teamwork skills. **To Apply:** Submit your application today to join PDS Tech Commercial and take the next step in your maintenance career.
