**Description**
Leads multifunctional facilities operations for the 350 & ASR facilities. Responsible for managing the maintenance and operation of several departments within the Facilities Services Department with primary focus on Building Systems.This includes the building and grounds repair and maintenance, the energy management, and the operations department support. Provides day-to-day management of various, interrelated Facility Services functions and specialties within the Facilities Services operating area. Responsible for facilities engineering, and related personnel involved in the installation, maintenance, repairs and operations of facilities and systems that assure safe, effective, and efficient manufacturing. Program coordination for all plant services, maintenance of real property, budget preparations for both expense and capital and monthly expense reports. This role will lead a diverse technical workforce of both exempt and non-exempt employees.
- Preparation of appropriate reports, statistics, and recommendations on land/ facilities activities.
- Processes purchase requisitions for all facility and internal customer requests.
- Oversees the performance and completion of projects performed by outside contractors.
- Ensures all outside contractors adhere to company policies and procedures and safety regulations.
- Communicates with all departments to resolve engineering problems and schedules requested projects.
- Responsible to identify problems/trends and make recommendations to improve or enhance the building, equipment and systems to better support the operations.
- Direct responsibility for a Facilities structure, grounds, and its mechanical/ electrical systems, machinery, and equipment
- Responsible to identify, plan, implement and document through a Computerized Maintenance Management System, the repair and maintenance of the Facility and 9ts machinery and equipment.
- Responsible to comply with all Town, County, State and Federal laws and regulations.
- Solicitation, preparation and administration of appropriate outside service contracts.
- Preparation and justification of fiscal capital plan for facility projects.
- Develop and adhere to all Repair and Maintenance Budgets.
- Create and adhere to all SOPs and Preventative Maintenance activities for building and compounding operations.
- Responsible for Day-to-Day activities of Buildings, Electronic Services, and Boiler Room departments.
- Responsible to maintain the department budget, occupancy budget and labor utilization.
- Maintains high employee morale.
- Responsible for performance evaluations and operations shift coverage. Coordinates all vacations and holidays for the department.
- Responsible for coaching team members, holding them accountable to performance standards, interviewing, and training.
- Lead an aggressive internal training initiative.
- Adheres to company policies and procedures.
**Qualifications**
B.S. Engineering Degree (Mechanical - Electrical)
Minimum of 6-8 years of experience leading and directing a diverse technical workforce. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
