Qualifications:
+ High school diploma and certification as a licensed practical nurse
+ Associates degree in Nursing preferred
+ American Heart BLS & ACLS
**Tennova Newport Convalescent Center** is an intermediate long-term care facility for individuals who are no longer able to care for themselves. We offer compassionate and attentive care in a safe, healing environment.Our 56-bed center features a secure, home-like atmosphere where residents can decorate their rooms with personal furniture as well as plants, special photographs, and their own blankets or quilts.
**Tennova Newport Convalescent Center** accommodates a wide variety of residents and offers:
+ Professional nursing care 24 hours a day, seven days a week
+ Rehabilitative care for residents in need of physical, occupational and/or speech therapy
+ Daily menus planned and supervised by a registered dietitian
+ Three nutritious meals per day prepared by the kitchen staff at Newport Medical Center
+ A safe and effective method for managing residents' medications, with a pharmacist checking for drug interactions and allergies
