**Job Title: Commercial Painter** **Job Description** We are seeking experienced Commercial Painters who are proficient with brush and roll techniques. The ideal candidate will have a consistent work history, experience in both commercial and residential settings, and skills in painting, patching drywall, and sanding for cosmetic purposes. **Responsibilities** + Utilize brush and roll techniques to cover surfaces including floors and walls. + Move furniture and cover all surfaces before painting. + Perform 'cutting in' by painting at the top of the wall in a straight line without using painter's tape. + Use rollers on extendable poles to cover large areas of drywall or concrete. + Patch drywall and sand any divots to ensure walls are properly prepped. **Essential Skills** + Prior experience painting in a commercial or residential setting. + Proficient with brush and roll techniques, including cutting and trim. + Consistent work history in painting and paint preparation. + Experience with spray gun and roller techniques. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with caulking and construction painting. + Ability to work on new construction and renovation projects. **Why Work Here?** We offer extensive opportunities for career growth and advancement from the field to leadership roles. Work hours are from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. The majority of our projects are commercial, involving new construction or remodels of office buildings and business parks. Currently, we have about 20 painters working on various projects in the field. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, New York. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
