The Patrick Henry Family YMCA is currently seeking energetic and responsible individuals to work as Camp Counselors for our summer day camp programs. This part time position starts at $15.00 per hour. As a YMCA Employee you also get a Free Gym Membership.
DUTIES of a Camp Counselor
Summer Camp Counselors have the opportunity to positively impact hundreds of youth in our community. We are looking for dependable role models who love to have outdoor fun! As a camp Counselor, you will be responsible for the well-being of your campers and providing a safe, engaging environment for them.
QUALIFICATIONS of a Camp Counselor
Successful candidates must be 18 years old with a high school diploma/GED. Counselors must have at least six months of youth development experience. College level courses and CPR/AED/First Aid are highly desirable but not needed.
