Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports. Perform general accounting duties such as journal entries, account reconciliations, and ledger maintenance. Support the month-end and year-end closing processes. Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions. Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Responsibilities

+ Ensure balances are logical and accurate.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
+ Understanding of accounting principles and practices.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Work Environment
This team reports to Accounting Managers under the Controller's lead. Accountants are assigned specific general ledger accounts. The role involves completing journal entries, preparing account reconciliations, and reviewing general ledger and subledger activity. Additionally, drafting commentary for monthly, quarterly, and yearly variances is required. The work environment is professional and encourages growth within a large, expanding company.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
