Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including timelines, budgets, and logistics.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and vendors throughout the event planning process.
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring financial responsibility and tracking expenses accurately.
- Negotiate contracts and secure vendors such as caterers, venues, and entertainment.
- Create and maintain project schedules to ensure timely execution of all event elements.
- Conduct site visits and assess venues for suitability based on clients' needs and requirements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in event planning or coordination, with a strong portfolio of successful events.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and vendors.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software or tools.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for event execution.
