We are a seeking a highly skilled Account Executive to join a leading Value-Added Reseller (VAR) specializing in providing cutting-edge technology solutions to K-12 and Higher Education institutions. This individual will be responsible for hunting new business and withholding existing business within the state of Utah or Nevada with an emphasis around the major city areas and building their portfolio and market share within the Public Sector industry. This role will also offer the unique opportunity for Presales and Sale Engineering. It is projected for this role to be about 60% sales, 40% sales engineering. This role an OTE of 200-250k with a base salary of 100k-150k. Commission is paid monthly and is typically averaged to be an additional 40% of compensation. This role can sit remotely in Utah or Nevada on a day-to-day but will require meeting clients face to face to drive and close revenue opportunities. The Sales Engineering will cover the following aspects:
Serves as the subject matter expert in a key area such as:
5x4 (Collab, Customer Experience, Security, Data Center, Enterprise Networking), (Cloud, Managed Services, Professional Services, Maintenance)
Cisco
Genesys or related Contact Center experience

Skills and Requirements
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Public Sector Sales
1+ Years of Sales Engineering - Specifically with Cisco Design
. - Proven track record of success in a similar role, ideally within another VAR or solutions provider.
- Strong knowledge and experience in selling technology hardware products such as Cisco, Avaya, Genesys, Dell, or similar. - Experience in selling software, machine learning, and AI solutions is a plus.
-Cisco Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, etc) null
